Do not tighten the thumbscrews until properly positioned in the grill. 33-B Set Collar Small Gap here Center Firebox Wall Slip Collar 32 33-B. Push Set Collar against the Slip Collar, provide a small gap to allow the Spit Rod to freely turn. If using the LONG SPIT ROD, the Rotisserie Handle may remain on the LONG SPIT ROD since it remains outside the firebox. 34-A. Insert the TYPE 1 Nipple of the regulator into the cylinder's Fuel Valve Outlet as shown. The hand wheel will come to a complete stop when the connection is secure, and gas will not flow until a positive seal is achieved. For leak-check procedure, read and follow the steps identified on page 36. 35-A. Set LP Cylinder in the Cylinder Support with the outlet valve facing toward the front of the grill. 35-B IMPORTANT! TO ENSURE PROPER GAS FLOW, BURNER CONTROL VALVES MUST BE "OFF" BEFORE OPENING THE GAS CYLINDER VALVE. WARNING: During assembly of Cylinder Retainer Bolt 35-B. THE RUBBER PLUG IS USED TO PROTECT THE CONNECTOR WHEN THE HOSE CONNECTOR IS NOT INSERTED. USE THE CAP TO COVER THE HOSE CONNECTOR WHEN NOT ATTACHED TO THE FUEL SOURCE. Step 36 YOUR NATURAL GAS COMPANY MUST INSTALL AND CONNECT THE GAS SUPPLY LINE TO THE GRILL. 36-A Rubber Plug CAUTION: MAKE SURE THE GAS CONTROL KNOBS ARE IN THE "OFF" POSITION BEFORE CONNECTING THE LOWER END OF THE HOSE TO THE FUEL SOURCE. TO CONNECT AT THE FUEL SOURCE: PUSH BACK THE SLEEVE OF THE QUICK DISCONNECT COUPLING AND INSERT THE HOSE CONNECTOR. RELEASE THE SLEEVE AND PUSH THE CONNECTOR INTO THE COUPLER UNTIL THE SLEEVE SNAPS FORWARD. TO DISCONNECT AT THE FUEL SOURCE: PUSH BACK THE SLEEVE AND PULL OUT THE CONNECTOR.
