[. . . ] If your code has more than one digit, just repeat the above for each digit of your code, then return the switch to its centre position. Digit: To enable valet mode 1. Turn the ignition switch to its "ON" position or start the engine. Enter your valet code on the PlainView switch, then return it to its centre position. You now have 5 seconds to press the latched position to enter valet mode. The system LED will glow continually for on-going visual confirmation of valet mode. 10 To exit valet mode 1. Turn the ignition switch to its "ON" position or start the engine. The LED will turn off to confirm that the system is now in its normal operating mode. Setting your own secret valet code Since all Concept 50 systems have the same factory-set code, it is highly advisable that you set your own valet code. You may choose any 1-, 2-, or 3-digit code that does not have any zeros. Write down the 1-to-3 digit code you wish to use (remember, no zeros in the code). Turn your vehicle's ignition switch to its "ON" position. Enter your current valet code (if setting a new code for the first time, enter the factory-set code of "2" by tapping the momentary side of the switch twice, then pressing the latched side). When the LED turns on, immediately tap and release the momentary side of the switch 6 times (after the first three taps, you will hear a single chirp confirmation each time you tap the momentary side -- in this case for a total of 3 chirps). Immediately after the 3rd chirp, press the latched side, then enter your new code. You'll hear the same number of chirps as each digit of your code each time you press the latched side. Wait until you hear 2 chirps and see the LED turn off, then turn the ignition off. Wait at least 10 seconds, then turn on the ignition and re-enter your new code. NOTE: If the LED does not illuminate, your new code was entered incorrectly. Example: Let's say you want to change the code from its original single-digit "2" code to a double-digit code of "31. " You would do the following: Turn the ignition on, enter your current code, tap the momentary side of the PlainView switch 6 times, press the latched side, then enter the new code: momentary, momentary, momentary, latched (3 chirps), momentary, latched (1 chirp), centre. Wait for the 2 chirp confirmation and the LED to turn off, then turn the ignition off. Wait 10 seconds, turn the ignition on and test the new code. Dual-sensor protection Concept 50 has both a Glass Tampering Sensor and a Volumetric Radar Sensor. The Glass Tampering Sensor detects attempts to break any of the vehicle's windows. [. . . ] Remote headlight activation OR window/sunroof closure The system's channel 4 output can be optionally wired and programmed by your installer to control either remote headlight activation OR, on certain vehicles, remote power window/sunroof closure. . " If button 4/channel 4 on your remote control activates the headlights, your installer can set the system's built-in timer to any interval between one second and two minutes. This will allow you to activate your vehicle's headlights for the duration of your choosing to illuminate your way to and from the vehicle. SmartPowerUp II If power to the system is ever removed and restored, SmartPowerUp II automatically resets the system to the same state it was in when power was cut. [. . . ]
