Precautions when creating MP3/ WMA files Usable sampling rates and bit rates 1. Always add a file extension ". MP3" or ". WMA" to MP3 or WMA files using single byte characters. If a different or no file extension is appended, the file cannot be played. Instead, "­ ­:­ ­" will appear in the play time display. When writing MP3/WMA files on a CD-R or CD-RW disc, select "ISO9660 level 1, 2, or JOLIET or Romeo" as the software format. The folder name and file name can be displayed as the title during MP3/WMA play. However titles must be within 64 single byte alphabetical letters and numbers (including extension). Do not affix a name to a file inside a folder with the same name. Instant station recall (ISR) The ISR function allows instant access to a favorite preset station. Recalling a station with ISR While in any mode, press the [ISR] button to turn on the radio function and tune the selected station. Press the [ISR] button again to return to the previous mode.
