When electrical or electronic systems and appliances are in operation, certain components are live, which can constitute a risk. Installation You can easily control your roller shutters with the HC 250 time switch from Chamberlain. [. . . ] INITIAL CONFIGURATION Each device is set with a different default radio identification code. The first time it is connected to the power supply, or after it has been switched off for an extended period of time, the timer will operate as follows: the text "AUTO" will appear at the top of the display (in reference to the operating mode; see paragraph "Operating Description"), while the time (12:00; the default value) and the number "1" (in the bottom left-hand corner) both start to flash. The first step is to set the day of the week and the current time (see paragraph "Programming days of the week and times"). Operation Programming days of the week and times Press and hold the STOP (MODE) button for at least 2 seconds: the day of the week will flash at the bottom of the display (as is usually the case, 1 = Monday, 2 = Tuesday, etc. ); the hours and minutes also appear (every time the unit is reset or after it has been switched off for an extended period of time, the time is set to the default value of 12:00), along with a small clock symbol. The day of the week and the current time (in the 0:00 23:00 format) are programmed in this phase. The number corresponding to the selected day flashes at the bottom of the display; press the STOP (MODE) button to set the desired day. At this point the hour digits begin flashing on the display; set the cor- Rect value using the UP and DOWN buttons and press the STOP (MODE) button to confirm; the minute digits then start to flash: use the UP and DOWN buttons to set the correct value and press STOP (MODE) to confirm. At this point you will enter the programming phase for the times at which the automatic commands will be transmitted every day of the week. The default setting for the UP command, every day of the week, is 7:00, while the DOWN command default time is set to 21:00. Then immediately press the UP button on the remote control and hold it until 1x peep is heard. SETTING STANDARD TIME/DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME To move from daylight saving time to standard time and vice-versa, depending on the time of year, press and hold the UP and DOWN buttons simultaneously for approximately 2 seconds: the schedule displayed will be delayed by one hour. If you press and hold the UP and DOWN buttons simultaneously for approximately 2 seconds, the current schedule will move forward one hour in relation to the initial schedule. Example: it is 12:00; if you press UP and DOWN simultaneously once the time will switch to 13:00. If you press UP and DOWN simultaneously again, the time will be set to 11:00. pressing UP and DOWN simultaneously once again will restore the time to 12:00 and the cycle will start all over again. FOR THE INSTALLER - IMPORTANT - The timer is not equipped with a sectioning device. This means that in certain conditions the signal may not reach the receiver. Reset To reset the programmed data, press the corresponding button, which is located underneath the DOWN button and can be seen once the front panel has been removed. Settings will also be reset if you disconnect the power supply for approx 1 minute.
