You have chosen a topquality loudspeaker system, thus demonstrating the high demands you place on sound and finishing quality. Please read these instructions carefully before setting up and connecting your system. The Canton Team wishes you lots of pleasure and many years of satisfaction with your Plus Media system. 1 System consists of an active subwoofer, two satellite speakers and a desktop remote control that can be used to turn the system on and off and to control the volume. TIP: If it is possible to put the satellite speakers further apart they should be positioned at the same distance apart as the distance from each speaker to your chair (equilateral triangle). Turn on the mains switch at the back of the subwoofer ­ the LED will glow green. Turn the volume regulator on the wired remote control (rotary control) to the far left (zero volume). Switch on the system by touching the silver surface in the middle of the wired remote control (the base of the remote control will glow blue). Where necessary adjust the level of the lower frequencies using the volume control on the back of the subwoofer (clockwise to increase the level, counter-clockwise to reduce the level). To enjoy your Canton loudspeakers for as long as possible, please observe the following: do not expose loudspeaker housings to direct sunlight. Avoid extreme temperature differences and protect your speakers against moisture. Do not clean the housing surfaces with polish that contains alcohol or scouring agents. When another audio source is connected to the input jack of the wired remote control (Aux In) the source connected to the subwoofer will be automatically deactivated: it should not be switched off manually. ⷠWhen connecting headphones to the output jack of the desktop remote control (Phones) the playback will automatically switch off from the loudspeaker system. ⷠThe LED on the back of the subwoofer will glow whenever the system is connected to the mains and the mains switch is on ­ in this condition the system is fully operational.
