[. . . ] The maximum distance for flags with a reflective prism installed is 330 yards/301 meters while for non-reflective objects such as trees is approximately 450 yards/411 meters. Note: You will get both longer and shorter maximum distances depending on the reflective properties of the particular target and the environmental conditions at the time the distance is being measured. The color, surface finish, size and shape of the target all affect reflectivity and range. White is highly reflective, for example, and allows longer ranges than the color black, which is the least reflective color. [. . . ] If the trigger is pressed and held the unit will go into Non-PinFire Mode and will hit most anything without a reflective prism to 450 yards. This mode can be activated by pressing the trigger button after 2-3 seconds of PinFire mode. You may either hold the button from the initial press, or press and hold the trigger anytime after the ~2-3 seconds of PinFire Mode (i. Note: ­ Once activated, the PinPro LCD will remain active and display the last distance measurement for 15 seconds. You can depress the trigger again at any time to distance to a new target. As with any laser device, it is not recommended to directly view the emissions for long periods of time with magnified lenses. ­ Make sure you aiming the PinPro to objects at least 7 yards away as this is the minimum distance it is capable. ­ PinFire Mode will provide distances much faster than Non-PinFire Mode as long as the intended target contains a reflective prism. FEaturEs Your PinPro's LCD incorporates illuminated indicators and audio tones that advise you unit of measure, when the laser is active, the battery charge is low, and when a target has been acquired. A summary of these features is presented below: illuMinating inDiCators Low Battery ­ When the external liquid crystal display reads getting low and the 9-volt alkaline battery should be replaced. Unit of Measure ­ The PinPro can be used to measure distances in yards or meters. The unit of measure indicators are located towards the top portion of the LCD. The PinPro will beep twice and either the "Y" for Yards or "M" for Meters will be displayed. As you continue to depress the trigger, the display will toggle back and forth between Yards and Meters. Once the unit of measure desired is displayed, simply release the trigger. The PinPro will return to the last unit of measure setting used each time the unit is turned on. PinFire Mode ­ The PinPro is ready to fire when the external display shows a solid "­". A quick press and release activates PinFire Mode and the PinPro will beep once. In this mode the display horizontally scrolls line segments as follows: Y Y Y AuDio tonEs: One Beep: ­ Upon initial firing indicates the laser is active and pulses are being emitted from the objective lens. Two Beeps: ­ Indicates a target has been acquired in PinFire Mode. ­ Heard during unit of measure set-up Three Beeps: ­ Indicates a target is acquired in Non-PinFire mode. Unit of Measure: Yards or Meters 7-yard minimum, 450 yards to trees and 330 yards to a reflective prism Integrated Carabineer Clip Red Dot Sighting System Includes Case ClEaning Gently blow away any dust or debris on the lenses (or use a soft lens brush).
