When the `Run' dialog opens, type "x:\easysetup. exe" (where X is the drive letter of the CD-ROM drive). Please press the `Install IP Setup Utility' button, then press the `Start' button. The LinkStation IP Address Configuration Utility will launch and begin scanning for all available LinkStation devices on the network. The IP Configuration Utility allows you to easily configure LinkStation's network settings. Enter a description of the share in the `Shared Folder Description' field. It is recommended to leave the remaining settings in their default state. Please refer to the User Manual on the LinkNavigator CD-ROM before changing any of these settings. Please repeat this step to create additional shares. 6 Step 5: Accessing LinkStation Data from a PC Press the `Start' menu, select the `Run. . . ' option. When the `Run' dialog appears, please type \\LinkStation_Name (where LinkStation_Name is the `LinkStation Name' set on Page 6).
