Calls light LCD Flashes to indicate an incoming call. Volume Turns the volume of the earpiece up or down during a call. [. . . ] · Handset displays LAST FWD DEL for 8 seconds after end of announcement. · Base station displays 8 and starts an 8 second countdown, at the end of which the handset returns to standby. If any messages have not been deleted, they are stored and renumbered in order of arrival. · After playing the last message the display confirms the number of stored messages. · The handset display shows LAST FWD DEL for 8 seconds at the end of the announcement. To delete all messages press the button during the time that these options remain on the display. (The base station counts down from 8-0 indicating the 8 second countdown. ) · Two seconds after selecting DEL you hear `All messages deleted'. This gives you the chance to cancel the delete option and save your messages. · Handset display returns to PLAY. 24 To save all messages using the handset FWD DEL LAST To skip backwards through your messages using the handset LAST FWD · After playing the last message the display confirms the number of stored messages. · The handset display shows LAST FWD DEL for 8 seconds at the end of the announcement. (The base station counts down from 8-0 indicating the 8 second countdown. ) · If button is not pressed voice announces `Messages saved' when the countdown has reached 0. or: · If the delete button was pressed and you then want to save your messages you must press CANCEL (i. e. · Display shows SAVED and two seconds after selecting CANCEL voice says: `All messages saved'. Handset display shows PLAY. · If you want to hear the current message again press the $(LAST)button. You will hear the announcement `Message X' and your current message will be played back in full. · If you want to replay the previous message press the $(LAST)button twice. To skip forwards through your messages using the handset LAST FWD · To skip forward to your next message press the (FWD)button during your message playback. · The current message playback will stop, you will hear the announcement `Message X' and the next message will be played. Ignore to return to standby or press button to delete all. 25 To play back your messages at the base station To delete your messages at the base station during playback · Set the answering machine to ON. · Base station display will show the number of stored messages: XX. Message 1 is played · At the end of the message the day and time of receipt are announced. · After the last message has been played the voice says: `End of messages. To delete all messages press DELETE. ' · If you do not press DELETE the countdown continues. After 8 seconds the voice says: `All messages saved' followed by a tone. Handset beeps every 10 seconds during a call Synergy 1500 base station power supply unit (Item code: 871343). Intercom does not work Check that you have pressed the Intercom button followed by the correct handset number.
