CARE AND MAINTENANCE Parking Brake · Periodically check that the parking brake works properly and locks both rear wheels securely. · Clean out any dirt or debris that may prevent the brake from working. Frame and Fabric IMPORTANT: DO NOT use abrasives, solvents, strong detergents or household cleaners on plastic parts. [. . . ] Failure to follow all warnings and instructions could result in serious injury or death. AVOID SERIOUS INJURY FROM FALLING OR SLIDING OUT: · ALWAYS use the 5-point safety harness to secure the child. · ONLY use accessories and replacement parts approved by Britax. · Stroller seating unit MUST be removed prior to use with an infant carrier. · ALWAYS ensure your infant carrier is properly positioned and locked into the stroller according to these instructions. · This stroller can ONLY be used as a travel system with the Britax Companion® infant restraint. · When using Britax Companion with this unit, ALWAYS use proper attachment pieces. Refer to the carrier's instructions for correct use of your infant carrier. · NEVER lift the stroller by the infant carrier handle or arm bar. · ALWAYS set parking brake when placing child in or removing child from seating unit. TO PREVENT INJURIES: · ALWAYS make certain the stroller is fully open and wheels are secured before use. · DO NOT use stroller with a child who weighs more than 40 lbs (18 kg). · To avoid entrapment or pinching, DO NOT fold or unfold stroller when child is in or around stroller. · DO NOT hang or place items on the stroller handle or frame. Assembling and using the stroller (The stroller seat unit is intended for children six months or older and up to 40 lbs or 18 kg) v 1f Push down on parking brake lever to lock brakes. IMPORTANT: Always engage parking brake when fitting seat unit. 1a Release storage latch. Tip: To avoid difficulty in attaching rear wheels, keep storage latch from resting above rear-wheel axle housing. 1b Hold handle and lift upwards until stroller frame is fully extended and clicks into position. 1c Push front swivel-wheel assembly into front leg. Listen for a positive "click" to ensure the wheel is correctly fitted. When properly fitted, the screw head on the front swivel-wheel assembly should face forward and the wheel's solid spoke fronts should face outward. Repeat process for remaining front wheel. 1d Push rear wheel into rearwheel axle housing. Wheel is fitted when you hear a positive "click. " Repeat process for remaining rear wheel. To ensure proper installation, use arrow imprinted on outer wall of tires as a visual guide. [. . . ] Using as a travel system ® Britax Companion Click and GoTM easy-assembly method v 2a To remove seating unit, apply parking brake. Release both locking clips from support bar by lifting and holding both seatlocking clips. Raise rear of seating unit clear of support bar, then slide seat unit forward and out of the stroller frame. WARNING: Always remove child from the seat before installation, removal, change of seat direction or folding. [. . . ]
