[. . . ] B-SCENETM Stroller User Guide IMPORTANT: To ensure your child is as safe as possible, read all instructions thoroughly before using this stroller. Store this manual for future reference. Table of Contents Warnings. [. . . ] · Only use accessories and replacement parts approved by Britax Child Safety, Inc. · Do not lift the stroller by the arm bar of the seat when the seat is occupied. · Read and understand these instructions before using this product. To ensure proper use, store this user guide in a convenient place so it can be consulted often. Failure to follow all warnings and instructions could result in serious injury or death. · When using an infant car seat with this product, refer to the product's user guide for maximum weights and other instructions. · Do not exceed the manufacturer's maximum weight limit when using an infant car seat with this product. 3 Features Canopy Handle. Cover 5 Assembly Unfolding · Lift chassis lock lever and open the frame · Lift handle until frame locks into upright position as shown Front Wheel · Slide mounting pin into the housing on the frame until it locks into place NOTE: Always make sure the front and rear wheels are locked into place and that the brake functions properly before each use 6 Assembly Rear Wheels NOTE: Left and right wheels are marked with an L or R and are from the perspective of standing behind the stroller · Hold in the release button in the center of the wheel and slide the mounting pin into the housing on the rear axle Arm Bar · Attaching: slide the pins into the mounts on the seat until they lock into place · Removing: push the release button on the bottom of the mounts and pull arm bar out NOTE: Armbar or cup holders must always be used to avoid finger entrapment in the open connectors 7 Assembly Removing Front Wheel · To remove, pull the wheel release lever on the front hub until the wheel assembly releases Removing Rear Wheels · Press and hold the release button in the center of the wheel and pull away from the wheel housing 8 Assembly Attaching the Canopy · Line up the bracket on the canopy stay with the canopy mount on the frame of the seat · Slide the bracket onto the canopy mount until it locks into place · Attach the six hook and loop fasteners to the back of the seat 9 Operating Instructions Parking Brake · Step on the brake pedal until the indicator window changes color NOTE: Red indicates the brake is engaged and green indicates the brake is off Attaching the Seat · Insert the seat locking latches into both chassis sockets · Push down until an audible click is heard NOTE: Seat attaches forward or rear facing 10 Operating Instructions · Pull up on the seat to ensure that it is locked into place correctly Detaching the Seat IMPORTANT: Always remove child before detaching the seat · Lift both release levers on each seat locking latch at the same time · Lift upward 11 Operating Instructions Folding IMPORTANT: Always apply brake and remove children before folding the stroller · Pull up both frame release levers located just below the stroller handle, and press the stroller handle down · Continue folding until the chassis lock engages TIP: You may need to compress the frame to engage the chassis lock Swivel Wheels · Slide the swivel lock on the front wheel housing to the left to allow wheel to swivel, or right to lock the wheel straight 12 Operating Instructions Leg Rest · Depress buttons on both sides of the leg rest hinge and hold while raising or lowering the leg rest to the desired position Recline · Lift and hold the recline lever on the back of the seat and hold while raising or lowering the seat back to the desired position Handle Angle · Depress and hold the two release buttons on the inside of the handle assembly while raising or lowering the handle to the desired position 13 Securing Your Child · Release the harness by depressing the button in the center of the buckle while pulling the two top tongues away from the buckle assembly · Sit child in seat and unzip the seat back to access the harness height adjuster TIP: You may need to loosen the harness to adjust the harness height · Squeeze the adjuster to release and slide up or down to one of the three positions NOTE: Adjusted harness height should be at or above the shoulders of the child 14 Securing Your Child · Buckle the harness by pressing the tongues on the harness straps into the buckle assembly NOTE: Ensure the straps are not twisted as they may become uncomfortable for the child · Tighten or loosen the harness straps by sliding the harness adjusters Buckle tongues separate for added safety. To reconnect buckle tongues, line up the two pieces and slide the upper portion onto the track on the lower piece 15 Infant Car Seat Mode Attaching Britax Infant Car Seat Adapters · Slide each of the adapters under the infant car seat handle and into the shell until they click into place NOTE: There is a left and right adapter and orientation should be as shown · Pull downward on the adapter to ensure that it is secure Removing Britax Infant Car Seat Adapters · Pull the release lever and slide the adapters down and out of the infant car seat shell 16 Infant Car Seat Mode Attaching a Britax Infant Car Seat · Lock the parking brake · Align the adapters and insert into both chassis sockets · Push down until a click is heard · Pull up on the seat to ensure that it is secure 17 Infant Car Seat Mode Removing a Britax Infant Car Seat · Set the parking brake · Lift both release levers on each seat locking latch at the same time NOTE: When removing infant car seat from stroller, take care that the car seat does not tip and fall · Lift upward NOTE: Once the infant car seat adapters are installed, they do not need to be removed.
