The interior temperature ­ as constant as the driving pleasure. Everything remains calm ­ except your happiness hormones. The beauty of this convertible is seen afresh each and every morning. This has gone in. The pleasure you get from driving a BMW is the result of fine engineering ­ always setting the benchmark because it is based on much more than engine power. It includes the visionary Hydrogen engine, already used in a number of completely emission-free BMW 7 Series Saloons. A separately available snap-in adapter enables connection of a Bluetooth-compatible mobile phone, which can also be operated via iDrive Controller (in conjunction with navigation system*). o Preparation for mobile phone with Bluetooth interface. s Electric windows, pull/press switch and open/close fingertip control, comfort closing function and trap release; central switch for opening and closing all windows simultaneously. s Roof control switch for fully automatic opening and closing of the roof. Two personalised positions can be stored for the settings of the driver's seat and the exterior mirrors. o Lumbar support for driver and front passenger seat, electrically adjustable in height and depth, for an ergonomically perfect seat position and support of the back muscles. s Standard seats (shown here with optionally available Boston leather upholstery in Black) with manual adjustment, including height adjustment for the driver's and front passenger's seat. o Sports seats for driver and front passenger (shown here with optionally available Boston leather upholstery in Beige), with infinitely variable electric backrest width adjustment for optimum lateral support, plus manual adjustment of fore/aft position, seat height, backrest angle, seat angle and thigh support (standard on 135i). s Standard equipment o Optional equipment s ISOFIX child seat attachment, rear, on the two outer rear seats for safe attachment of a child seat with clip-in plug connectors plus additional fastening points on the upper part. Passenger airbag can be deactivated using a key. o Through-loading system with integrated transport bag offers plenty of space for the optimal use of the luggage compartment. The removable section of the backrest can be laid down and will remain securely in place. Transport bag allows for clean and safe transport, for example, of two snowboards. When the bag is not required, it can be stowed out of sight to save space (included in the optional through-loading system). s Luggage compartment with volumes from 260 litres (roof open) to 305 litres (roof closed). The fabric-lined luggage compartment is illuminated and fitted with four lashing eyelets, an elastic tie (left) and a storage compartment with a sliding net on the rear seat backrest (not available with optional through-loading system). o Interior mirror, with automatic anti-glare function and large surface area; the glare from following vehicles is automatically reduced when the amount of incident light exceeds a defined limit. s Personal Profile: This Personal Profile stores your personal preferences depending on equipment for settings such as the temperature and air distribution of the automatic air conditioning, the position of the driver's seat and exterior mirrors, and the volume and sound of the radio. These settings are then activated when your key is used to unlock the central locking. o BMW Welt: see, touch, sit inside and start your very own BMW for the first time. In addition, the 135i boasts sports seats, Black high-gloss interior trim as well as 18" light-alloy wheels star-spoke style 264 with mixed runflat tyres. The special front apron adds to the sporty character while the M aerodynamics package ­ comprising side skirts and a powerful rear apron with integrated diffuser ­ adds even more striking lines. s Front apron: under the BMW double kidney-shaped grille with chrome kidney slats, the central air intake is a draw for the eye as well. The two side air intakes serve to cool the brakes and give the front a particularly athletic profile. Two side flaps accentuate the vehicle's broad front. s High-performance brakes, painted, with BMW lettering ­ inner-vented, 17" front and rear brake discs. They ensure very short braking distances and high endurance. s Double tailpipe: the exhaust system with two black, chrome-plated tailpipes is standard on 135i. s Dashboard: the 135i features special scaling with extra display ranges. o Gearshift paddles on the sports steering wheel (in conjunction with six-speed automatic transmission Steptronic) for fast manual gear changing without using the clutch (shown here with M leather steering wheel and Aluminium Glacier Silver interior trim). s Standard equipment o Optional equipment o M Sports package: available with exclusive Le Mans Blue metallic paintwork (optional).
