CD changer operation The CDC-FM 08 remote control allows you to operate a Blaupunkt CD changer even if your car radio is not equipped for changer control. The output signal of the CD changer is converted into an antenna signal, which will then be played back by the car radio. The CDC-FM 08 remote control can be used for the following Blaupunkt CD changers: CDC-A 05 (with adapter cable 7 607 889 093), CDC-A06, CDC-A 071 and CDC-A 072, CDC-A 08. Switching on/off Switch on the CDC-FM 08 by briefly pressing the button. [. . . ] Switching on/off with the ignition: If the CDC-FM 08 has been connected as described in the instructions, it can also be turned on and off with the vehicle ignition. Traffic safety As the driver of a motor vehicle, it is your responsibility to pay attention to the traffic situation at all times. Please keep in mind that you travel a distance of 14 m per second at a speed of only 50 km/h. Should the traffic situation become particularly demanding, we advise you not to use the CDC-FM 08 remote control and the car radio. Starting CD playback Switch on the CDC-FM 08 by pressing or via the ignition of your vehicle. Use your car stereo to select the station or frequency on which the modulator (tuner interface) signal is received. When using the equipment for the first time, proceed with chapter "First operation". Inserting CDs Insert one or several CDs into the magazine (printed surface facing up). Please observe the operating instructions of the CD changer equipment. Close the door of the changer. Installation If you would like to install the remote control Ejecting CDs yourself or add other audio components to Open the door of the CD changer and press existing ones, then please read the enclothe eject button. RDM will appear in the lower right section of the display, together with a CD changer symbol in the lower left corner. To stop RDM CDC: · Press RDM briefly. Repeated play CDs and CD tracks can be played repeatedly. The following options are available: repetition of a track (RPT) or of the entire disc (RPT CDC). RPT is displayed on the right, together with a CD changer symbol in the lower left section of the display.
