Stop receiving eBay notifications By default, you receive a notification when you are outbid, when an auction that contains a watched item is ending soon, when you win a bid on an item in an auction, and when you lose a bid on an item in an auction. If the item is set to the Auction buying option, you can bid on the item for a fixed duration. If the item is set to the Buy It Now buying option, you can buy the item immediately for the price that the seller sets. Bid on an item You can only bid on an item if the Bid Now option appears on the item screen. If you win the item, the item then appears in the won items list. Buy an item immediately for the price that the seller sets You can only buy an item immediately if the Buy It Now option appears below the item.
