How To Use Your Spot Lifter Filling Your Solution Tank 1. 2. Remove Solution Tank by grasping the indentations with thumb and finger firmly, and pulling it straight up. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 until no more dirt or cleaning solution can be removed. For stubborn soil, use brush to gently scrub soiled area while continuing to spray cleaning solution. If Spot Lifter stops spraying, turn off Power Switch and check cleaning solution level. "W" or "WS" on the tag means you can use your Spot Lifter. If tag is coded with an "S" (with diagonal strike-through), or says "Dry Clean Only, " do not proceed. If manufacturer's tag is missing or not coded, check with your furniture dealer.
