When the scale is switched on, the display e shows the temperature in °C at the top right. Should the batteries leak, wear protective gloves and clean the battery compartment with a dry cloth. Batteries can be swallowed by children and cause impairment of health. ³ Remove the old batteries and replace them with new ones. Take note of the correct polarity: The side of the battery marked with a "+" must show to the top. ³ If the display e shows "Err" for a short time and the weighing mode cannot be switched on, the scale is overburdened.
