[. . . ] Instructions for use The can-opener: The can-opener is equipped with an auto-stop function, which stops the can-opener automatically once the can has been opened completely. The can remains fixed in the can-opener, while the separated can lid is held by the magnet. In order to use this function, it is important that you do not press the handle down during the opening process. If the handle is pressed down, the auto-stop function will be deactivated - this function should only be used if you do not want to open the can completely. To assemble the can-opener, please proceed as follows: Press the handle firmly into the opening provided in the upper part of the can-opener. If this is not the case, press the handle more firmly into the opening. How to use the can-opener: 1. Raise the handle slightly and place the can with the upper rim between the retaining cog and the cutter wheel, so that the cutter wheel rests on the inner side of the rim of the can. The lid will be held by the magnet once it has been removed, and can be safely disposed of later.
