Never operate vehicle in excess of manufacturer's specifications. [. . . ] A 0305 Step Seven Release the small metal rods from the plastic clips on both sides of the vehicle. This will allow the snaps to line up more easily. Step Nine Snap the flaps to the six studs on the rear bow. 54603 pg 10 Rev. A 0305 Step Eleven Slide the Rear Bow up on the Front Bow and insert the small bent tab into one of the four holes in the Front Bow. Step Ten Insert the black plastic strips at rear corners of top into Corner Belt Rails. There is a plastic reinforcement sewn into the corner of the top, in addition to the plastic strip. Make sure that the reinforcement is not caught under the Corner Belt Rail. Plastic Reinforcement Rear Corner Retainer Fabric Insert tab into one of the four holes Rear Bow Front Bow Black Plastic Strip Do not use this hole!! Note: If the top is extremely tight, slip the tab into the bottom hole. Then the tab may be inserted into a higher hole position. 54603 pg 11 Rev. A 0305 Step Twelve Start top and rear zippers on side curtain 6 inches. Zipper under flaps Start top and rear zippers Side Curtain Hook and Loop Fastener Note: If necessary, release the Bow Coupler and slide the top around the Corner Belt Rail towards the window to make it easier to start the zippers on the Side Curtains. Step Fourteen Wrap fabric flap on the front of the side curtain around the Vertical Rod (not the front bow) and fasten the hook and loop strips to each other. Front Bow Sport Bar Close Zippers Step Thirteen Slip the plastic strip on the bottom of the side curtain into the side retainer. Close the top and rear zippers on the side curtain. A 0305 Step Fifteen Wrap the flap, sewn to the top above each door, around the Horizontal Rod and fasten the hook and loop strips to each other. The foam pillow with the flat surface must be on the inside of the horizontal rod for full, steel door use. Front Wrap Flap around Horizontal Retainer Windshield Rear Curtain Slip Plastic Strip under Corner Retainer Rear Curtain Retainer Tailgate must be open Tube on inside of Rear Curtain Step Sixteen Open the tailgate. Orient the Rear Curtain Retainer with the rubber bulb facing down, in order to form a seal with the top of the tailgate. Slide the groove in the Rear Curtain Retainer onto the tube inside the bottom of the Rear Curtain. Slip the plastic on the bottom of the corners under the bottom of the Corner Belt Rail. Close the rear curtain zippers. Slide groove in Rear Curtain Retainer onto tube on inside of Rear Curtain. Push it into Tailgate Retainer. Rear Corner Retainer Rear Curtain Retainer Oriented with Rubber Bulb Down Rear Corner Retainer Plastic Strip 54603 pg 13 Rev. A 0305 Step Seventeen Determine the left and right Rotary Latch Paddle Handles. Locate the pre-cut "X" in the lower door panel where the Paddle Handle will fit into the mounting plate on the door frame. Fold the pre-cut fabric back and insert the Paddle Handle into the mounting plate so that the latch mechanism is inside of the vehicle and the Rotary Latch Mechanism is toward the rear of the door. Start with the Rotary Latch Paddle Handle at an angle to the door and rotate it into position as shown in the video. Align the four holes in the Paddle Handle Assembly with the four holes in the mounting plate. Match the holes in the Paddle Handle and the mounting plate with the four pre-cut holes in the fabric.
