The utility automatically guides you through the process of updating the firmware on your MATRIX2. Cautions and Warnings: We strongly recommend that you update your firmware only if you are currently experiencing mouse and keyboard problems with your MATRIX2, as reconfiguring software may lead to unexpected operational problems. A custom flash cable (DB25 Male-to-RJ45; included with purchase) that connects between the MATRIX2 and the computer. Firmware updates files, available at belkin. com. Connecting Computers: 1. Connect a keyboard, monitor, and mouse to the computer you prepared for firmware update. Connect the custom flash cable (DB25 Male-to-RJ45; included with purchase). Connect one end of DB25 to your computer's parallel port and the other end of RJ45 to the MATRIX2's flash upgrade jack.
