Discussion Due to changes made to the USB manager in Mac OS 9. 0. 4 the original SIM (SCSI Interface Module) driver provided with Belkin USB/SCSI adapter no longer functions properly with Iomega zip or jaz drives. [. . . ] To reformat the drive use the "Erase Disk" option contained in the Mac OS "Special" pull down window. It is recommended that you re-title the icon, "zip drive", or "jaz drive".
3. The SHIM driver does not support daisy chaining of SCSI devices.
Hardware Installation Instructions (Do this first): 1. Plug your SCSI device into the Belkin USB-SCSI adapter and turn power on to the device. Locate the "Installer for Mac OS 9. 04" on your installation CD.
2. Locate the Belkin USB-SCSI Folder, and open to view it's contents.
