Setting hazardous materials class > In the profile settings, press the button for setting the hazardous materials class. Selecting vehicle category and name Once you have changed one of the truck profiles, you have the option to enter the displayed truck symbol and name. 1 2 > Use the 1 button to select whether there is a trailer ( ) or not ( ). Setting weight > In the profile settings, press the button for setting the weight. > Select the required hazardous materials class. > Press the 1 button to enter another name. > Press the 2 button to change the displayed symbol. > Press the button next to the weight to be entered. The new vehicle category is displayed in the profile. NAVIGATION MODE Feedback after route calculation When calculating the route, the best possible route is selected by taking the vehicle or loading specifications into consideration if possible. The route might vary considerably from the car route as regards distance, journey time or routing. If a destination cannot be reached without taking the predefined restrictions into consideration, this will be displayed after the route calculation. You can scroll through the list using the arrow key or scroll wheel on the right-hand side of the screen. The following is displayed for each restriction: 1 A graphic for the restriction 2 The distance from the current position 3 A description of the restriction When you select a restriction, the corresponding section will be displayed on the map. 1 2 >>> >D > GB >F >I > PL Zooming in on the map You can gradually zoom in and out of the map using the Zoom buttons. > Press Zoom in to "zoom into the map" and thus zoom in closer to the displayed details. > Press Zoom out to "zoom out from the map" and thus get a greater overview. Warnings with planned route When the driver warnings function is activated in the navigation settings, you will be warned about road sections where there are relevant restrictions. 1 2 1 2 3 If there are road sections on your route that are subject to a restriction, your navigation system will warn you shortly before reaching the road sections affected. The layout of the message is similar as 73 >>> >D > GB >F >I > PL NAVIGATION MODE described in the chapter "Feedback after route calculation". You have the following options: 1 Press the button to close the message. The message will close automatically once you have left the critical area. In addition, the message closes automatically when you approach a new road section with a restriction. Warnings without planned route When the driver warnings function is activated in the navigation settings, you will be warned about road sections where there are relevant restrictions. The function is similar as described in the chapter "Warning with planned route". Selecting the route type > After pressing the Route type button, select one of the following options. Option Fast route Economical route Furthermore, the navigation system will display in which direction you can or cannot drive at intersections, provided that the information is available. Short route Easy route Meaning With this option, the fastest route in terms of travel time is calculated.
