This instruction manual is for use with both stand-alone ovens and oven-hob combinations. Read the instruction manual supplied with the hobs of oven-hob combinations to find out how their hob controls work. Changing the end time Cancelling the end time Calling up the time settings 22 Time After the appliance is connected or after a power cut, the 0 symbol lights up in the display with three zeros. Childproof lock The oven has a childproof lock to prevent children switching it on accidentally. The timer and clock can also be set when the childproof lock has been switched on. Switching on the childproof lock The function selector must be on the zero setting. Switching off the childproof lock Press button i for approximately four seconds. The childproof lock is switched off. 23 Modifying the basic settings The oven has different basic settings. These settings can be adapted to the user's personal requirements. Basic setting c0 Light intensity on displays c1 Signal duration when a cooking time or timer period has elapsed c2 Time display c3 Waiting time until a setting is adopted c6 Reset all values to the factory settings * Factory setting The oven must be switched off. The display panel shows the current basic setting for the light intensity of the indicators, e. g. Confirm with button 0. The next basic setting is shown in the display. You can use the 0 button to scroll through all levels and make changes using the @ or A button. 4. Note The basic settings will not be retained if the appliance is switched off at the mains or there is a power cut. The oven will be reset to the manufacturer's settings. 24 Automatic switch off If you do not change the settings on your appliance for several hours, automatic switch off is activated. Overriding automatic switch off So that automatic switch off is not activated when it is not wanted, you can set a time period. The oven will heat until this period has expired.
