In many cases, a special installation kit will be required to mount the radio to the dashboard. These kits are available at electronics supply stores and car stereo specialist shops. Always check the kit application before purchasing to make sure the kit works with your vehicle. [. . . ] NOTES ON USE OF FRONT PANEL: bt dn do dm THEFT-DETERRENT LED Located on the chassis behind the front panel, a light-emitting diode (LED) will flash when the panel is physically removed. The flashing light serves as a visual warning to the would-be thief that the unit has been disabled by removal of the front panel. RESET BUTTON The RESET button is located to the right of the theft deterrent LED. The reset circuitry should only be activated under the following 1. Five seconds after the last hour or minute adjustment is made, the time will be set in the unit and the display will return to the normal indication.
