[. . . ] Not respecting the instructions contained in this manual will invalidate the guarantee terms and conditions. NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFETY AND MAINTENANCE ATTENTION: Read the following instructions and precaution carefully and completely before. operating or mainteining your Audio Analogue Maestro Class A integrated amplifier. It's mandatory to comply with the following regulations to avoid any hazard: Always disconnect your entire system from AC mains before connecting or disconnecting any cables. [. . . ] one balanced input has been foreseen to configure the power amplifier in bridged mode. Class A SE has been designed with high-performance circuits solutions and high precision passive devices such as military resistors or double-sided metalized polypropylene plastic film capacitors. Each channel has it's own transformer, a 400VA unit, and it's own rectifying section realized with two discrete diodes bridges and four low ESR capacitors for a total of 60000µF. A great deal of effort went into the design and construction of the Class A SE power amplifier. The internal stages are DC coupled and the offset is reduced by means of an integrating amplifiers. The protection and control sections are galvanically insulated from the analog sections to minimize the digital noise. The voltage of both channel is measured by means of optocoupler to avoid any ground loop. the DC offset on the output (loudspeakers) is also monitored by means of optocouplers. The protections are realized with a PLD (Programmable Logic Device), more fast and reliable compared to a microcontroller. It's "bright red" whent the power amplifier is turning on. It's green when the power amplifier is operating and "blinking red" is there is a problem. ⷠFUSE: If necessary, replace it with an other of the same kind (see back panel label). If one of the items listed above is missing, please contact your Audio Analogue retailer. After extracting the smallest items from the package, pull out the unit carefully. Where to place the Class A power amplifier Class A SE is a high bias unit, it generates a large amount of heat. After some hours of operation the unit temperature can raise up to 55°C, be carefull! In particular, you should leave at least 5 cm around and above the unit and avoid placing it close to heat sources (radiators, heaters, amplifiers, television sets). Plugging and connecting Before connecting the Class A SE power amplifier to the preamplifier, please be sure that everything is unplugged from the wall outlets. as the second step , connect Class A SE outputs to the speakers' cable. At last, plug the power cord into the Class A SE inlet and into the wall outlet. To put the amplifier in stand-by you MUST place the rear panel switch in position 1. Bridge connection To use Class A SE power amplifier in mono configuration (bridged mode) is MANDATORY to have a preamplifier with balanced output. [. . . ] If your used electrical or elctronic equipment has batteries or accumulator, please dispose of these separately before and according to local requirements. By disposing of this product correctly you will help ensure that the waste undergoes the necessary treatment, recovery and recycling and thus prevent potential negative effects on the environment and human health which could otherwise arise due to inappropriate waste handling. In other countries outside the EU If you wish to discard this product, please contact your local authorities and ask for the correct method of disposal. For Switzerland: Used electrical or electronic equipment can be returned free of charge to the dealer, even if you don't purchase a new product. [. . . ]
