WASH PROGRAMS AND OPTIONS Your ASKO dishwasher has several wash programs and options specifically designed to reduce your energy costs and make your life easier. [. . . ] The drain pump will run to remove any dirty water from the dishwasher before starting the newly selected program. PROGRAM MEMORY When you select the Pots and pans, Super wash, or Norm wash program, the dishwasher retains the settings until you change them. TEMPERATURE OPTIONS You can select high or low water temperatures for the wash programs (except Rinse and hold). The table to the right shows the temperature options for each program. We recommend that you use the lower temperatures whenever possible to conserve energy. The indicator light glows if the temperature is set on high and it remains black if set on low. Once you select a temperature option, it will remain selected until you change it (except the Quick wash program, which reverts to 130° F).
