If needed, top-up the fluid; the clutch must work without gripping and/or sliding. Check that there is no resistance when the side stand is pulled up and down and that the spring tension makes it snap back to its rest position. Fluid level inside the expansion tank should be between the 'FULL' and 'LOW' reference marks. Check that the tone wheels are perfectly clean and in good conditions.
