Park the vehicle in a safe place, possibly in a garage or a protected place. If possible, use the appropriate aprilia "Body-Guard" armored cable &, or an additional anti-theft device. POSITIONING THE VEHICLE ON THE STAND Carefully read beside (PARKING). x PARKING x Neither lean the vehicle against walls, nor lay it on the ground. Make sure that the vehicle and especially its red-hot parts do not represent a danger for persons and children. Do not leave the vehicle unattended when the engine is on or the key is inserted into the ignition switch. Do not sit on the vehicle when the stand is down. x x a Park the vehicle on firm and flat ground, to prevent it from falling down. x a Position the vehicle on the stand, see p. Never leave the key in the ignition switch.
