If your memory is 64MB, normally, you need to reserve at least 64MB HDD space to save your memory image. Delete config. sys and autoexec. bat. Online Manual Fresh installation of Windows 98 on a new system 1. After Windows 98's installation is complete, go to the Control Panel > Power Management.
