If your Service Provider connects you to the Internet with dynamic IP settings, it is likely that the DNS server IP address is provided automatically. However, if there is a DNS server that you would rather use, you need to specify the IP address of that DNS server here. You must get an account, password and your static domain name from the DDNS service providers. This router supports DynDNS and TZO. By enabling the DHCP server the router will automatically give your LAN clients an IP address. If the DHCP is not enabled then you'll have to manually set your LAN client' IP s addresses; make sure the LAN Client is in the same subnet as this broadband router if you want the router to be your LAN client' default s gateway The DHCP when enabled will temporarily give your LAN clients an IP address. In the Lease Time setting you can specify the time period that the DHCP lends an IP address to your LAN clients. The DHCP will change your LAN client's IP address when this time threshold period is reached You can select a particular IP address range for your DHCP server to issue IP addresses to your LAN Clients.
