Refer to your external equipment operation manual for the signal type. 54 Using external equipment Connecting a DVD player You can use the INPUT 1, INPUT 2, INPUT 4 or INPUT 5 terminals when connecting to a DVD player and other audiovisual equipment. NOTE The S-video terminal has priority over the video terminals. AVC System (front view) AV cable (commercially available) S-video cable (commercially available) Game console/Camcorder 56 Using external equipment Connecting a Digital TV STB (Air or Cable) You can use the INPUT 1, INPUT 2, INPUT 4 or INPUT 5 terminals when connecting a Digital TV STB (Air or Cable) and other audiovisual equipment. NOTE If your cable-TV company has CableCARD available, you can also use the CableCARD to receive HDTV programs. (See page 29. ) When using component cable.
