The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying the appliance. The lightning flash with arrowhead, within an equilateral triangle, is intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated "dangerous voltage" within the product's enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons. Power On/Off: Rotate the volume control clockwise to turn power on and counter-clockwise to turn power off. A power indicator on the base of the right satellite will glow to show power is on. NOTE: The 3182 LF SPEAKER must be installed close to an AC Power Socket so that the power cord plug can be easily pulled out to disconnect the power. Volume Up/Down: Turn the volume control clockwise to increase volume and counter clockwise to decrease volume. Figure 1 Description The 3182 LF SPEAKER is an amplified speaker system featuring a subwoofer for extended low frequency response. The system is especially designed for multimedia computer near field monitoring. A patented control circuit automatically boosts bass at low volume to maintain musical sound "realism". The satellite speakers are magnetically shielded to prevent color distortion on video displays. However, the subwoofer is not magnetically shielded and should not be placed in close proximity to a computer monitor or television. When the 3182 LF SPEAKER is not used with a computer, it can serve as an amplified speaker system for CD players, cassette players and various video/audio sources with excellent results.
