Retain Instructions -- The operating instructions should be retained for future reference. Heed Warning -- All warnings on the appliance and in the operating instructions should be adhered to. Follow Instructions -- All operating and use instructions should be followed. [. . . ] Water and Moisture -- The appliance should not be used near water ­ for example, near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, in a wet basement, or near a swimming pool, etc. Outdoor Use -- Warning: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this appliance to rain or moisture. Ventilation -- The appliance should be situated so that its location or position does not interfere with its proper ventilation. For example, the appliance should not be situated on a bed, sofa, rug, or similar surface that may block the ventilation openings; or placed in a built-in installation, such as a closed bookcase or cabinet that may impede the flow of air through the ventilation openings. Heat -- The appliance should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other appliances (including amplifiers) that produce heat. Power Sources -- The appliance should be connected to a power supply only of the type described in the operating instructions or as marked on the appliance. Power-Cord Protection -- Power-supply cords should be routed so that they are not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed upon or against them. Pay particular attention to cords at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the appliance. Grounding or Polarization -- The precautions that should be taken so that the grounding or polarization means of an appliance is not defeated. Cleaning -- The appliance should be cleaned only with a polishing cloth or a soft dry cloth. The plugs that are inserted into these jacks have matching colors to avoid mistakes. The RIGHT FRONT jack is a mini-DIN connector which is different from the other jacks. The input plugs 1 and 2 should be inserted into the back of the computer outputs 1 and 2. If your computer only has a stereo output, insert the plug (lime) indicated as number 1 into the computer stereo output. The 3127 LF SPEAKER will automatically decode the stereo information so that the left front and left surround will become one stereo channel and the right front and right surround the other channel. The power LED on the front panel will glow to indicate the unit is turned on. V o l u m e U p / D o w n : Turn the volume control clockwise to increase volume and counter-clockwise to decrease volume. Surround Control: The SURROUND Control varies the volume of the left and right surround speakers. Adjust this control until the surround affect is enhanced for best realism. Bass Control: The BASS Level Control is located on the front of the subwoofer.
