How To Get Warranty Service: To get a covered product repaired or replaced, you must contact Altec Lansing during the warranty period by email (csupport@alteclansing. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for the replacement of the obsolete outlet. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched -- particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus. Disconnecting the power plug is the only way to completely remove power to the product and must be readily accessible at all times. Power source -- Use only power supplies of the type specified in the operating instructions or as marked on the appliance.
