The desirable compensation amount can be selected from 6 patterns. 1 2 F/SETUP Press and hold the F/SETUP button for at least 2 seconds. Move the Flipper switch up or down to select your preferred Volume pattern (VOL 1: small compensation to VOL 6: large compensation. to OFF when the function is not used. ) Press the OK button or MODE knob to set. When the setting is completed, press the F/SETUP button to return to the normal mode. 3 Navigation Interruption and Adjusting its Volume (NAVI MIX) When the voice guidance of the navigation system starts, the volume level of any currently playing audio source is reduced automatically. Move the Flipper switch up or down to select your preferred auxiliary mode. Move the Flipper switch up or down to select the AUXILIARY LABEL on the SETUP display. Move the Flipper switch up or down to select your preferred name from AUX, GAME, VCR, TV and MP3. [. . . ] 5 Dimmer Lead (Orange) This lead may be connected to the vehicle's instrument cluster illumination lead. This will enable the vehicle's dimmer control to dim the backlighting of the unit. 6 Switched Power Lead (Ignition) (Red) Connect this lead to an open terminal on the vehicle's fuse box or another unused power source which provides (+) 12V only when the ignition is turned on or in the accessory position. 7 Ground Lead (Black) Connect this lead to a good chassis ground on the vehicle.
