The temperatures caused by direct sunlight at these locations can reach extremes that could cause permanent damage to the Shuttle. IMPORTANT Please record the serial number of your unit in the space provided here and keep it as a permanent record. HAVE THE WIRING AND INSTALLATION DONE BY EXPERTS The wiring and installation of this unit requires special technical skill and experience. To ensure safety, always contact the dealer where you purchased this unit to have the work done. USE SPECIFIED ACCESSORY PARTS AND INSTALL THEM SECURELY Be sure to use only the specified accessory parts. Use of other than designated parts may damage this unit internally or may not securely install the unit in place as parts that come loose can create hazards. DO NOT INSTALL IN LOCATION WITH HIGH MOISTURE OR DUST Avoid installing the unit in locations with high incidence of moisture or dust. Moisture or dust that penetrates into this unit may cause smoke or fire. MAKE THE CORRECT CONNECTIONS Failure to make the correct connections can cause fire or accident to occur. ARRANGE THE WIRING SO IT IS NOT CRIMPED OR PINCHED Route the cables and wiring so as not be crimped by moving parts like seat rail or make contact with sharp or pointed spots which might damage the wiring. First, insert the Hexagon bolts (M6 x 25) up through the holes in the bottom of the floor base plates. The bolt heads should be recessed into the hole under the base plate so the base lays flat on the floor. Then, mount the floor base plates to the floor of the car with the Hexagon flange-head screws (M5 x 15). Cut mat in "+" shape with a knife to allow the threaded shaft of the floor base plates to come through. The Disc indicator in the head unit's display will change from "D" to "d. " Note: Model TDA-7537 (USA/Canada model), TDA-7638R/ 7537R (Europe models), TDA-7638E/7537E (other models) cannot access discs 7 to 12 from its front panel.
