The Rail-BatchPro interface now includes a Browse button, with which the location of the output files can be changed, if needed, from the default folder (the folder containing the input files). This feature helps users to improve file management by either accessing default file locations or user-defined locations. Chapter 1: Introduction 3 2 Chapter Installing PC*MILER|Rail-BatchPro PC*MILER|Rail-BatchPro is a PC*MILER|Rail add-on product that can be installed when you install PC*MILER|Rail or at a later time. To install BatchPro along with PC*MILER|Rail, you simply make sure that "PC*MILER|RailBatchPro" is checked on the list of components when you are prompted during the installation process. See your PC*MILER|Rail User's Guide or Getting Started Guide for complete instructions for single user (non-network) and network installations. 2. 1 Adding BatchPro to a PC*MILER|Rail Installation If you are purchasing and installing the BatchPro module after PC*MILER|Rail has already been installed, follow the steps below: For a Single Standalone Installation: 1. Call ALK Technologies, PC*MILER SALES at 1-800-377-6453, 9:00am5:00 pm EST, Monday-Friday to purchase the product and obtain a Product Key Code. When prompted, replace your old Product Key Code with your new Upgrade Product Key Code and click Next. Make sure all new products you are installing are checked in the list of components. IMPORTANT: Leave the checkmarks next to products that are already installed!You must have an ALK Activation Code to access your PC*MILER|Rail software once it is installed. If the computer you are installing to is connected to the Internet, the ALK License Manager gives you direct access in seconds to ALK's activation web site where you'll receive your Activation Code. NOTE: Internet license activation is available 24 hours a day. PC*MILER|Rail-BatchPro User's Guide 5 a. If you want to receive your Activation Code via the internet at a later time, uncheck the Activate License check box. When you start your unactivated application later, you will be prompted again to activate your product. Alternatively, you can call ALK's technical support team from 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, at 609-683-0220, ext. 553 OR e-mail us at activate@alk. com (include your Product Key Code and License Number) to receive an Activation Code. b.
