Precautions · · Do not aim the camera directly into the sun or other intense light sources which could damage your eyesight. Do not try to open the case of the camera or attempt to modify this camera in any way. [. . . ] The camera will stop recording automatically when the memory capacity has been reached. Setting the Movie Size Movie Size and Frame Rate Resolution 720 x 400 640 x 480 320 x 240 30 frames/sec. Lower Quality Frame Rate Higher Quality 26 Recording Audio Clips 1 2 Turn the power on, and set the camera to the Voice REC mode ( page 13). Press the shutter button ( ) to start recording. Be careful to avoid touching the microphone while recording. 3 Press the shutter button again to end recording. The camera will stop recording automatically when the memory capacity has been reached. Playing Back Audio Clips 1 2 3 Turn the power on, and set the camera to the PLAYBACK mode ( page 13). or to select the audio Press clip that you want to playback. Start playing back. If the image already has the voice memo recorded, the appears on the LCD monitor. The new recording will replace the previous one. 3 4 Open the PLAYBACK menu. Press the MENU button, using four-way control to select Voice Memo ( and press the SET button. ) Caution The voice memo cannot be added to a movie clip or a protected image. When you delete the image, the attached voice memo is also deleted. When voice memo paused, press 28 Other Recording Functions Setting the Metering There are 3 different light metering options available on your camera. Option Description Light is measured from the entire shooting screen, but gives more importance to the values near the center.
