It is most important that this instruction book should be retained with the appliance for future reference. [. . . ] Press the On/Off button All the indicator lights of the programme selection buttons illuminate. 5. Setting and starting the programme To select a programme, press the programme button of the desired washing programme (see "Washing programmes" chart). The corresponding indicator light remains illuminated while the other programme buttons indicator lights turn off. In the digital display flashes the running time (in minutes) of the selected programme. After about 3 seconds from the last pressure of a button the programme starts automatically. In the digital display the running time of the programme is no longer flashing and the programme in progress indicator light remains illuminated. Setting and starting the programme with the delay start The setting of the delay start occurs before selecting the programme Press the delay start button until the flashing number of the hours for the delay start will appear in the digital display (from 1h to 19h). In the digital display will appear, for a moment, the running time of the programme and then again appears the selected delay start time. As soon as the number of hours is displayed without flashing, the countdown for the delay start is active. 26 Operating instructions The opening of the door during the countdown will not modify the delay start. Once the delay start has elapsed the programme will start automatically. With the delay start option setted, the programme in progress indicator light is off. Remember that if this function is selected, it will remain active also for the following programmes, until it will be deactivated by pressing the "3 in 1" function button (indicator light off). Select the required washing programme, after about 3 seconds the programme will start automatically. Once the programme is running, the "3 in 1" function can NO longer be changed. If you want to exclude the "3 in 1" function you have to cancel the programme setting (see "To cancel a washing programme in progress") and then deactivate the "3 in 1" function by pressing the "3 in 1" button. With the use of "3 in 1" function, the cycle durations given in the "Washing programmes" chart may change. 29 Operating instructions NOTE: if the drying results are not satisfactory it is possible to activate only the rinse aid dispenser. The activation/deactivation of the rinse aid dispenser can only be possible with the 3 in 1 fuction active. Activation/deactivation of the rinse aid dispenser (The dishwasher must be switched off) When the rinse aid dispenser has been activated, the rinse aid indicator light on the control panel is automatically activated. All programme selection buttons indicator lights will illuminate (setting mode). If only one programme selection button indicator light is illuminated, this means that a washing programme has been set. The programme must be cancelled: press simultaneously the function buttons 2 and 3 for about 2 seconds, the indicator light of the set programme button starts flashing for about 2 seconds. After about 2 seconds the indicator lights of all the programme selection buttons will illuminate indicating that the set programme has been cancelled and that the machine is now in setting mode. Press simultaneously function buttons 2 and 3, until the indicator lights of the function buttons 1, 2 and 3 start flashing. [. . . ] The dishwasher is fitted with safety devices that prevent the wash water returning into the drinking water system and comply with the applicable plumbing regulations. 43 Installation instructions Water inlet hose with safety valve After connecting the double-walled water inlet hose, the safety valve is next to the tap. Therefore the water inlet hose is only under pressure while the water is running. If the water inlet hose starts to leak during this operation, the safety valve cuts off the running water. Please take care when installing the water inlet hose: - The electrical cable for the safety valve is in the double-walled water inlet hose. - If water inlet hose or the safety valve is damaged, remove the mains plug immediately.
