General information and tips Environmental information safety information electrolux 5 Safety information q In the interest of your safety and to ensure the correct use, before installing and first using the appliance, read this user manual carefully, including its hints and warnings. To avoid unnecessary mistakes and accidents, it is important to ensure that all people using the appliance are thoroughly familiar with its operation and safety features. Do not take any dishes out of the dishwasher before the end of the dishwashing cycle. [. . . ] When a programme has been selected the corresponding light will illuminate. Once the programme has started, the programme progress display will show the progress of the phases of the washing programme. The display is divided in 5 steps that will gradually illuminate as the washing programme runs. Setting and starting the programme with "delay start" 1. After having selected the washing programme, press the delay start button until the number of hours for the delay start will appear in the digital display. The commencement of the selected washing programme can be delayed from 1 to 19 hours. Close the door; the countdown will continue from the point at which it was interrupted. Once the delay start has elapsed the programme will start automatically. Only the first step of the programme progress display is illuminated during the countdown of the delay start and will remain so until the washing programme will start. End of the washing programme q The dishwasher will automatically stop and an audible signal informs you of the end of the washing programme. q The programme progress display is completely illuminated with green light. Leave the door ajar to prevent the formation of any unpleasant smells.
