[. . . ] Boot Up Floppy Seek: When the computer boots up, the BIOS detects if the system has a FDD or not. When this item is set to Disabled, if the BIOS detects no floppy drive, it will display a floppy disk drive error message. NF7/NF7-M/NF7-S BIOS Setup 3-9 Boot Up NumLock Status: This item determines the default state of the numeric keypad at system booting up. Security Option: This item determines when the system will prompt for password - every time the system boots or only when enters the BIOS setup. To disable security, select Set Supervisor Password at main menu and then you will be asked to enter the password. Do not type anything and just press the <Enter> key and it will disable security. Once security is disabled, the system will boot and you can enter the BIOS setup menu freely. If you forget the password, you will have to open the computer case and clear all information in the CMOS before you can start up the system. MPS Version Ctrl For OS: This item specifies which version of MPS (Multi-Processor Specification) this motherboard will use. If you use an older OS for dual processor executing, please set this option to 1. 1. OS Select For DRAM > 64MB: This item allows you to access the memory that is over 64MB in OS/2. Leave this item to its default [Non-OS2] setting for operating system other than OS/2. Report No FDD For OS: When set to [Enabled], this item allows you to run some older operating system without floppy disk drive. Delay IDE Initial: This item allows the BIOS to support some old or special IDE devices by prolonging this delay time.
