Report No FDD For OS: When you are running some older Windows version without floppy drive, set this item to Yes. Delay IDE Initial (Secs): This item is used to support some old models or special types of hard disks or CD-ROMs. They may need a longer amount of time to initialize and prepare for activation. Since the BIOS may not detect those kinds of devices during system booting. The minimum number you can enter is 0, the maximum number you can enter is 15. Small Logo(EPA) Show: This item determines to show the EPA logo when booting. The default setting is Disabled. IT7-MAX2 BIOS Setup 3-11 3-4. Advanced Chipset Features Setup Menu The Chipset Features Setup Menu is used to modify the contents of the buffers in the chipset on the motherboard. Since the parameters of the buffers are closely related to hardware, if the setup is not correct or is false, the motherboard will become unstable or you will not be able to boot up. If you don't know the hardware very well, use default values (i. e. The only time you might consider making any changes is if you discover that data is being lost while using your system. Figure 3-6.
