FROM SEMI-AUTOMATIC TO RANDOM AUTOMATIC, 3M IS THE LEADER IN ANY CASE.
3M offers a full line of case sealers that can improve productivity and reduce operating expenses at the end of your packaging line -- the most expensive place in your plant for bottlenecks. With everything from semi-automatic adjustable systems, to fully-automatic random systems, our 3M-MaticTM case sealers are consistent and durable, require low maintenance and help your case sealing operations run reliably. Each model features our advanced, patented, low-impact AccuGlideTM II Taping Head with its curvilinear track, ensuring that even lightweight corrugated cases are securely and carefully sealed with Scotch ® box sealing tape. 3M-Matic case sealers can also help increase plant safety, reduce labor costs, and decrease downtime because of the equipment's extensive safety features and improved processes versus hand taping or stapling, or using older equipment.
In short, you can expect a safer, more efficient, more productive operation when 3M is on the case.
3M: THE TOTAL PACKAGE.

CASTERS
For ease in portability. 3" [76 mm] diameter polyurethane wheels.
INFEED/EXIT CONVEYOR
Rigid support mounting system; roller shafts locked in position; ball bearing rollers.
LOW TAPE INDICATOR
Photosensors signal a light to come on when tape roll is getting low. Increases productivity by giving advance warning that a tape roll change will be necessary.
BOX HOLD DOWN ATTACHMENT
An easy and convenient method for holding an open regular slotted container on the case sealer infeed conveyor. This frees the operator to use both hands for case filling prior to the sealing operation.
THREE-FLAP FOLDER
Assists operator in folding the front, or minor, and two side, or major flaps of regular slotted containers before the taping operation.
3M-MATICTM S-857
"L" CLIP APPLICATOR
The S-857 instantly applies pre-fed 115 mm "L" clips of ScotchTM brand high performance filament tape on a variety of box sizes, shapes and styles -- up to 50 per minute. Durable buffing rollers assure consistent tape closure, even very close to corners. Its narrow width (11" [280 mm]) allows side-by-side mounting for simultaneous application of multiple "L" clips to the flap of a box. An optional single head stand is also available.
